There were times when we’d have to mock up wireframes for projects, but those days are generally gone (thank goodness). One thing I have encountered recently is that when launching our new website we needed high-resolution (2k or 4k) images of our apps and solutions in Dynamics 365.
This was a bit difficult as I was able to get some pretty nice looking screenshots using some 30″ monitors and zooming the browser in to blow things up, but when doing that you notice that most of the Dynamics 365 website assets/images are low-res GIFs/PNGs etc. Definitely not suitable for what we needed.
Recently we’ve been gifted vector .SVG support in Dynamics 365 and that is certainly a welcome thing, but until there’s a bit of a spring clean of all the underlying assets throughout the site, we’re stuck.
For this reason I fired up Adobe Illustrator and created some vector based versions of the NAV Bar.
Started with Dynamics CRM 2016 (v8.1)…
..and Dynamics 365 (v9 Web Interface) which is similar to the previous v8.2.
Hopefully I’ll get some time in the future to do the new v9 Unified Interface.
Luckily they didn’t take too long, as the product keeps changing on a much faster basis these days, so that could get annoying! Would love to see Microsoft release these with all new release versions one day. Pipe dream!

Hopefully you will find these valuable for any screenshot renders you may be planning.
